Teeth grinding?

I have a really bad habit of grinding my teeth when I sleep. My mom does it too, and now all of her teeth are really flat. Mine are getting to be flat too. My friend always makes fun of me and says I%26#039;m going to end up with teeth like my mom. Are flat teeth gross? Also, how annoying would it be to sleep in the same room as someone who grinds there teeth? My teeth grinding is so bad, sometimes the sound of it wakes me up. lol.

Teeth grinding?
Get a night guard. You will grind the night guard instead of the teeth. All damage will happen to the guard and your teeth will stay strong. You can get a self adapted one at the pharmacy for $15-20. Sometimes they are hard to mold to the teeth correctly. You can also get a sports guard at a sporting goods store for about the same price. The dentist can make you a excellent custom fit one. This will be a few hundred dollars. If you can afford this, it is the best, but the others will definitely help.
Reply:Although a night guard wont stop the grinding it can protect your teeth.

Reply:night guard will help
Reply:Teeth grinding to me is like nails on a chalkboard to most. It is really bad for your teeth talk to your dentist. local drugstores or pharmacys sell guards that you boil in hot water and then take it out but be careful because its hot and once it is cooled till it is a little harder than gel substance, bite it or press up against top or bottom teeth then let cool, take it out and wear at night. usually directions come with it. so follow those.
Reply:You should check at your local sporting goods store - the mouth guard they use for football would work for this, without the cost of the dentist.
Reply:It%26#039;s pretty annoying to hear that grinding. It sounds like the person is going to bust up all their teeth!

The dentist can fit you with a mouth guard that will help with that. Some people get terrible migraines from grinding..glad you aren%26#039;t one of those.
