Teeth grinding?

I know it%26#039;s bad for her but obviously she doesn%26#039;t. How do I get my 1yr old to stop grinding her teeth!

i asked my son%26#039;s dentist that question and he said that it was normal. that alot of kids do it and that they will out grow it.


my son is 6 and he still does it. it drives me crazy but i guess he will stop eventually.
Reply:My daughter has been grinding her teeth since she started teething. I asked her dentist about it and she said that it is natural since they are still cutting teeth and because of the fact that it is uncomfortable for them.
Reply:She will stop on her own. She is probably cutting teeth right now. That was always the way i could tell if my daughter was teething or not. If it doesnt stop when she has all of her teeth, then i would go see a dentist about it. Until then i wouldnt worry to much.
Reply:My baby brother does that so I just give him peppermint or something.....i don%26#039;t know how to make them stop permanently.I wish my brother would stop....he%26#039;s one also!
Reply:I WORK FOR A DENTIST. ALL KIDS GRIND THERE TEETH. THERE ISN%26#039;T A LOT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. IF THE GRINDING IS BAD YOU CAN TAKE THEM INTO A CHILD%26#039;S DENTIST AND THEY CAN COAT THERE TEETH. DONT WORRIE.
