Teeth grinding?

i have teeth grinding and my gums and teeth hurt and numbing it wont work! i dont know what to do!!

Teeth grinding?
Get a mouthguard. Dentist can mold one specifically for ur teeth or get a cheaper one at the drugstore.
Reply:your dentist can fit you with a bite guard or you can buy them over the counter for sleeping in
Reply:GO to your local drug store and get an inexpensive mouth guard for sports or better yet, one for grinding, if not available see your dentist. I%26#039;m sure they%26#039;ll help!
Reply:go to any store and buy a mouth protector it separates you teeth so they wont grind together to cause pain
Reply:I have the same problem. I suggest you go to your dentist and get a bite guard. It is expensive if you don%26#039;t have insurance, but believe me, it is worth it. What it does is relieve the pressure from the grinding and prevent your jaw muscles from going into further spasm. This will relieve the pain and stop the damage to your jaw. I didn%26#039;t do this in time so now my jaw pops in and out all the time; (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder), which is extremely uncomfortable and can only be fixed with surgery.

In the mean time, for treatment, referr to:

Reply:Go to the dentist and get a night guard. That%26#039;s what I did. I still grind, (or so I hear, since it happens while I%26#039;m asleep and I technically can%26#039;t know for sure I was grinding, and maybe it%26#039;s all a conspericy and I never grind my teeth ;-), but my teeth are protected from further damage.
Reply:Mouth guard is cool, but check what are influencing this behaviour. Stress is good cause, reduce it and grinding will decrease. Also drinking, might contribute to it. Before going to sleep, relax and resolve pending problems that you might have.
