Teeth Grinding??

I grind my teeth at night when I%26#039;m asleep. What can I do to prevent doing this.

Teeth Grinding??
You can buy a mouth guard and insert it before bedtime. If you are having no other helth problems, try that. However, if teeth grinding is an issue along with other symptoms, it can be a medical issue. Hope this helps!!
Reply:You might have TMJ. Go see your dentist about getting fitted for a bite splint. They can be costly, but you will sleep better and your teeth will thank you.
Reply:Is it doing any harm? Has your dentist told you of accelerated wear facets? Do you waken with sore jaw muscles? If you answer no to these, then there is no indication for treatment.

Nothing can stop you grinding, and occlusal splints (made by a dentist) act by allowing you to wear away the splint instead of your teeth.
